Perfumes and colognes are one of the most popular things to gift a loved one. Unfortunately, it's not so easy getting your hands on something that is actually safe to use.

Perfumes are loaded with petrochemicals (chemicals derived from petroleum) and it is the companies right to not disclose what they are actually putting into their products. Yes, some you will find "natural essence" ,but with that usually is followed by dozens of hazardous synthetic chemicals. "The average fragrance product tested contained 14 secret chemicals not listed on the label" - reported by the Environmental Working Group. I don't know about you, but that is NOT okay with me.

I have so many oils at home to experiment with, so why not make my own perfume? The one I made for the month of February was to celebrate love, which is why it's called Blissfully Happy. Grab a 10ml roller bottle and add:

  • 20 drops of Balance

  • 20 drops of Serenity

  • 4 drops of Cinnamon Bark

Fill the rest of the roller up with Fractionated Coconut Oil. Breathe easy knowing that you aren't breathing in harmful chemicals!
